These diets often dictate what foods can be consumed, how they are prepared, and when they are eaten. Our dietitians understand these unique dietary needs and can help you maintain nutritional balance while honoring your cultural or religious practices.

              What is a registered dietitian?

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a nationally recognized credential. All Apex MD network dietitians are RDNs, which means that they have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition, passed a national exam, and completed a number of ongoing continuing education credits annually.

Dietitians undergo rigorous training, including a bachelor’s and master’s degree, an internship, and a certification exam. On the other hand, nutritionists do not undergo the same level of training as dietitians.
